To maintain a healthy environmental terrain and internal immune system by encouraging biodiversity – that’s an element of ecology and immunology and is the basis of all science-based agroecology and preventive medical practice, as well as most curative medical practice.

 

The fact that from day one the Covid terrorist propaganda and lockdown assault has opposed this entire proven framework and sought to maximize the opposite, the destruction of healthy human terrains (physical and psychological) through radical aggressive reductive forcible violent interventions premised on sequestration and suppression, was always one of the proofs that the entire campaign has zero to do with science or public health and regards these with extreme contempt.

 

The billionaires and foundations and “forums” which propagate the aggressive “vaccine” model of “fighting disease” are the same that have fought in the most aggressive totalitarian way to eradicate all genetic diversity in agricultural crops and domestic animals as well as in free nature, and openly strive to do the same with humans.

 

They concocted the entire “pandemic” onslaught of terrorist propaganda and aggressive social control and police state assaults for a radical escalation of this agenda to the level of a 1941-style blitzkrieg. They’re trying to use the mass insanity they’ve provoked to win it all in one fast blunt force push. (Whether they deliberately released SARS-COV-2 and trumped up its alleged “Covid” pandemic effect, or opportunistically seized upon an accidental release, makes little difference to the overall malignity of the program.)

 

The cosmic irony, and to the impresarios a feature not a bug, is that this violently forced genetic uniformity will render human populations much more vulnerable to pandemics, not less.

 

The technocracy program is maximum genetically-altered transhumanism for its own sake, as a religious goal.

 

I don’t know whether the likes of Bill Gates and Klaus Schwab really want to kill billions along the way as an accompanying depopulation goal, but I do know they don’t care. That’s a price they’re willing to pay toward their hellish vision of New Babylon.

 

 

 

 

 

The Pinyon-Juniper Ecocide

A core goal of modern civilization, as proven by its actions, always is to wipe out all uncontrolled natural life* and replace it with its own domesticated creations, social and technical/biological/genetic.**

 

[*Including human life: 1. All traditional peoples must be genocided, either culturally or physically. For example the Bolsonaro regime in Brazil is determined to complete this process in Brazil, while it remains ongoing at a more gradual pace in the US and Canada.

 

2. Among the civilized as well, anyone not fully regimented socially and biologically is targeted for eradication, one way or another.]

 

[**Thus the genetic engineering campaign, the goals of which are: 1. Replace all conventionally bred crops with GM crops. 2. Escalate the omnicidal assault of poison-based agriculture. 3. Use GM crops as PR stalking horse for GM-based livestock and pet eugenics. All existing domestic animals are to be replaced by GM animals while all wild animals are to be eradicated. Already over 90% of the world’s mammal biomass is hominids and their livestock. 4. Use this GM regime as stalking horse for GM-based human eugenics. Eventually all hominids are to be engineered and physically coupled with machinery.

 

Throughout the campaign, the goal always is total control and domination. Natural and wild is anathema and must be exterminated. Socially and conventionally domesticated is good. Technologically domesticated is much better.

 

This is a big part of the reason why the genetic engineers and their cult fanboys never care about the fact that GMOs, crop or animal, don’t work and that every claim made for them is a lie: These claims really are nothing but propaganda and have nothing to do with the real domination goals.]

 

This extends even to the most marginal habitat. The orcs’ fondest desire always is to destroy the desert community and replace it with agriculture (or, more recently, solar electricity factories). No one really thinks the pinyon-juniper forest habitat can be suitable for these, but it can be made the target of expanded industrial grazing. Thus after the government uses public money to physically destroy the forest it salts the earth with herbicides and plants forage grass. All pure corporate welfare to accompany the ecocide. Yet this too is a scam. In reality the most common successor in a pinyon-juniper destruction zone is invasive, inedible, highly flammable cheatgrass. So even grazing is a bogus rationale for the pinyon-juniper massacre.

 

 

The pinyon-juniper forest has been the primary natural community of the Great Basin for millions of years. It flourished long before invasive Western hominids with their invasive cattle came along. Yet twice in modern times – in the latter 19th century and again in the decades following World War II – it has been subject to extreme logging and burning. In recent years the US government has undertaken a third exterminationist campaign, dedicated to the complete eradication of the forest and all its inhabitants right down to the last individual trees.

 

This is the destruction of a vibrant natural community which supports a wide range of wildlife as well as being a great fount of food, medicine and craft materials for such traditional peoples as the Shoshone, Paiute, Goshute, Cahuilla, Havasupai, Hopi and Kawaiisu.

 

The pinyon-juniper forest is critically important for maintaining the physical cohesion of the soil and retaining the scarce moisture of the arid region. It is superbly adapted to its environment and its loss always brings on ecological havoc.

 

Today as in the past this havoc is being wrought by the assaults of the government’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and various economic interests, especially cattle grazers.

 

“The BLM “treatments” in the Great Basin, both proposed and ongoing, include “lop and drop,” mastication, herbicides and chaining. Chaining involves attaching a huge anchor chain from a battleship between two tractors and dragging it along the desert floor, ripping trees and bushes from the ground, wrecking delicate soil crusts, and killing or injuring countless other creatures in their dens, nests and hideouts. The extent of the damage is unknown, as it is not being adequately tracked.”

 

This massacre goes on for zero rationally explicable benefit to anyone. The government gives such bogus justifications as reducing erosion (but ripping up the roots and soil greatly increases erosion) and reducing wildfires (but the natural fire cycle of the forest is as much as hundreds of years, while the cheatgrass which colonizes the destruction zone is extremely flammable; the ecocide greatly increases the fires).

 

In tandem with corporate “environmental” front groups the government has touted the destruction as part of a program to build habitat for the beleaguered sage grouse. This came after the Obama administration denied the science and refused to list the grouse under the Endangered Species Act. The government’s claim to be building new sage habitat by destroying the forest is meant to make it look like there’s no need to list the grouse under the Act.

 

Nothing could be more fraudulent than this. The government also is waging a war of extermination against the sagebrush habitat of the grouse, which is why the bird is endangered. Free-ranging cattle regularly trample the nesting grounds of the bird and wipe out the chicks. Large numbers of grouse also are killed by collisions with the fences the ranchers strew all over the plain.

 

So the alleged program to assist the sage grouse by destroying the pinyon-juniper forest and having good sage habitat somehow succeed it is nothing but obfuscation***, trying to cover for the fact that the government and the ranchers are dead set on wiping the bird out. Meanwhile the forest grows mostly in steep, rugged, arid regions which would be unsuitable for the grouse even if the program was sincere. And in reality the government has never attempted to create a single acre of grouse-appropriate habitat. On the contrary, wherever the government destroys the forest it tries to replace it with yet more cattle-grazing territory.

 

[***Probably a standard “offset” scam as well. The climate-industrial movement always has been very accommodating of ecocide in this way.]

 

The most demented and Orwellian part of the propaganda links the extermination campaign with the fake version of the “invasive” ideology. The government tells a tower of lies in order to deny the historical range of the pinyon-juniper forest so that it can represent the trees as “native-invasive”. In reality the forest has only been resuming its natural range since the second, mid-century eradication campaign abated. Far from being any kind of destructive invasive, the forest has again stabilized the destabilized soil and restored critical wildlife habitat for a whole natural community. This is hateful in the eyes of the destroyers of the Earth, which is the real reason they’ve mobilized for a third campaign of exterminating the forest.

 

The “anti-invasive” ideology, where it’s unanchored from any reality-based measure of whether a non-native actually is acting ecologically or harmfully, is anti-science and always masks the most rapacious ecocide. This is doubly true in the absurd case of referring to native species as “native-invasive”, as the government is doing with the pinyon-juniper forest. While in theory it might be possible for a native to run rampant among disrupted or destroyed natural communities, in reality this almost never happens. On the contrary, the epithet “invasive” is bestowed only upon species, non-native or not, which are inconvenient for some powerful interest.

 

Meanwhile the most incontrovertibly destructive invasives – ecocidal hominids, their industrial livestock, their commodity agricultural crops – are never called invasive. But if an honest person were to talk about destructive invasives, they’d have to start, continue, and finish with these.

 

And so we have the record, as clear-cut as the bulldozer-chained war zones: The war on the pinyon-juniper forest wrecks the ecology, is devastating to wildlife, is propagandistically part of the campaign to wipe out the endangered sage grouse, destroys the soil, spews carbon into the air, greatly increases the incidence of wildfire, wipes out a rich source of food and medicine for people, and doesn’t even attain its proximate goal of generating more rangeland, wherever the inedible invasive cheatgrass monopolizes the succession. All this is being done at a massive financial loss to the public.

 

As climate chaos inflicts drought over ever greater expanses, drought-tolerant forest like the pinyon-juniper will become ever more critical. The fact that the US government, including bipartisan executive and legislative consensus, is determined to completely eradicate this forest type is proof that the government and both parties are intrinsic climate deniers, and that they’re determined to drive the climate crisis to its absolute worst. Of course all their actions prove this, but the eradication of the pinyon-juniper forest is so pointless, so egregious as to be one of the purely stark events laying bare the absolute insanity and biophobia of this economic and political system.

 

 

What does it mean to engage in such relentless murderous destruction, for no reason, systematically lying every step of the way? This is a most clear case of destruction for the sake of destruction, ecocide for the sake of ecocide. When we contemplate the scale of the aggression, the Nazi mindset against the trees, we see the lust for pure destruction. To destroy arid-zone natural communities and replace them with herbicide-policed invasive grasses to be grazed only by livestock while all other animal and plant life perishes always is a value in itself, without reference to any actual efficiency or profit, to use the capitalists’ own shibboleths; this also is why the US Forest Service always is willing to auction off logging licence at a huge financial loss to the public, let alone the physical, biological, genetic loss – they’re ideologically committed to the total destruction of all natural forest and to keeping all land with trees in a constant state of sterile monoculture plantation enslavement, domination, control, and artificial destruction.

 

As we see in the case of the pinyon-juniper, they also retain reactionary notions of wiping out the food sources and culture of the First Nations and forestalling any foragers. And as a gnarly forest growing in remote arid regions, not like the charismatic Amazon or Tongass (not that their charisma does any practical much to protect them either), here the orc vermin can indulge their eco-hatred and violence to the ultimate extreme without having to endure even political criticism.

 

 

The obvious solution for a sane, decent society would be to abolish industrial grazing. This would simultaneously save the sage grouse and the greater natural communities of the sagebrush and the pinyon-juniper forest. It would conserve an important carbon sink. It would let the ecology control erosion, water flow and fire. It would be a great boon to wildlife. It would offer us a potentially abundant food and medicine source which will be crucial for the collapsing future. The same would be true for every natural habitat being destroyed across the entire rangeland.

 

And it is precisely hatred of all this goodness, of all these benefits, hatred of life itself which motivates the orcs of the US government.

 

 

 

 

 

Eugenic War II Proceeds According to Schedule

The First Eugenic War against humanity and the Earth was launched by ideologues of scientism and social Darwinism in the latter 19th century. In America and Europe eugenics quickly became one of the most popular cultural and political ideas among the entire educated and political class. Political progressives especially were enthralled and as usual joined hands with conservatives and militarists. In America only the churches and a small band of political and social critics opposed the cultural eugenic wave.

 

Although the movement failed to gain policy traction in Britain in spite of massive propaganda efforts, America quickly began enacting eugenic policies. California and other states were passing laws informed by eugenic notions early in the century. By the 1920s forced sterilizations of alleged inferiors, enshrined by the Supreme Court (“three generations of imbeciles is enough”, chirped Oliver Wendell Holmes for the 8-1 majority), were being performed on a large scale, while eugenic ideology played a large role in the crafting of immigration policy.

 

Europe’s big day came when the Nazis came to power. The Nazis warmly praised American eugenic policy and consciously adapted it. Nazi eugenics escalated in tandem with anti-Jewish policy. They eased their way from voluntary euthanasia of deformed infants to a full-scale policy of the murder of asylum inmates launched in tandem with the invasion of Poland in 1939. The program used both shootings and gassing. In this way Nazi eugenics both psychologically and in terms of technical experience prepared the Nazis to embark upon the vastly greater program of exterminating the Jews with poison gas. Genocide is the inherent goal of all eugenics.

 

Much to the chagrin of scientists and technocrats everywhere, the Nazi experience discredited the eugenic concept in the public mind. Eugenics had to go underground under the guise of regular genetic research. It eventually began to resurface in the 1960s in the form of reproductive assistance technologies marketed as mere medical treatments but whose practitioners actually had far-reaching eugenic goals. This stealth eugenics was accompanied by the development of genetic engineering technology. At the same time Arthur Jensen and Harvard University resurrected scientific racism. These three pathways have since intertwined and comprise an ever more aggressive propaganda and technological deployment. The Second Eugenic War was on.

My basic point has been that agricultural GMOs, in addition their inherent uses as weapons of power, also are a stalking horse for GM animal eugenics and eventually GM human eugenics. The idea of so-called reproductive “medical” engineering treatments has run parallel in the propaganda and research.

 

It’s not necessarily the case that right at this moment there’s some master cabal somewhere which is consciously planning to repeat the Nazi experiment on a far more comprehensive technocratic basis, though they often informally talk about it quite openly. But the entire history of scientism and its eugenic preoccupation, and their entire pattern of action is trending toward this goal. The entire history of their type (the history of eugenics specifically, and the control ideology among engineers in general) proves that at some point they will consciously organize to attain this genocidal totalitarian goal.

 

Today Australian regulators have taken the latest step*. Out ahead of regulators anywhere else, they have endorsed the full deregulation of all GM eugenic animal research and deployment.

 

“A new report by Friends of the Earth reveals that scientists are using these new GM techniques, such as CRISPR, to develop more muscular and disease resistant livestock that can endure intensive conditions without getting sick; and to produce animals that don’t reach sexually maturity so they eat less food.”

 

Of course animal eugenics posits only goals which are purely instrumental for capitalist productionism. From the point of view of the economic civilization animals are nothing but a resource to be exploited. (In the same way, literally all alleged “safety tests” on GMOs which have been performed by corporations and governments have focused on nothing but whether factory farmed animals being fed on GM-based feed can reach their slaughter weight without dropping dead. Self-evidently this has zero relevance for testing the safety of GM-based foods in the human diet. Governments, corporations, universities, and the media systematically lie when they propagandize that GMOs have been tested and found safe.)

 

Economic exploitation is also the primary usage of human beings, and the primary way the consciousness of civilization views them. Today’s eugenic ideologues among scientists and social Darwinists also spew the same utopian fantasies of engineering a Master Race that the Nazis did, but since this is genetically impossible the main uses of genetic engineering technology will be to engineer more useful slaves and to use gene drives, along with biological weapons and artificial famines, to exterminate everyone else. Exactly as Hitler planned to exterminate all Germans and other “Aryans” who weren’t physically perfect once the war had been won, so that the end result would be a pure bifurcation of the alleged “Master Race” and the slave races.

 

 

To sum up the schedule:

 

1. Agricultural GMOs.

 

2. GM animals.

 

3. GM humans as “medical treatment”.

 

4. GM humans as “positive” eugenics, i.e. boutique engineering of the embryos of rich rubes stupid enough to think they can turn their brats into Mozarts and Einsteins and Michael Jordans that way.

 

5. Massive social pressure upon all expectant parents to have their embryos engineered.

 

6. Coercion and the revival of negative eugenics (forced sterilizations and so on).

 

7. The full Nazi euthanasia program via genetic modification.

 

I’ve been forecasting this for years and so far everything’s happening right on schedule.

 

 

*A striking feature of the corporate-technocratic onslaught is how regulators everywhere see themselves as nothing but servants of the big corporations and seek nothing but to divest all of their own powers. That’s not historically the usual behavior of bureaucracies. It goes to show what the true role of regulatory agencies is under capitalism, and how stupid it is for anyone to still look to regulators for any kind of action whatsoever which isn’t on behalf of the corporations. Elementary Notes on Bacteria

 

 

1. Bacteria are the core of most life on Earth. This has been true throughout the natural history of evolution, our bio-cultural history, and physically, today and at all times. We humans are symbiotic with our internal bacterial microbiome and dependent upon it for our physical and mental health. This is where we must start in describing the modern biological war.

 

2. Today’s bacteria are the same as the primordial bacteria, in effect the same bacteria which never died completely but continued splitting. Our symbiosis links us with this. Each of us is linked with and part of an enduring collective organism.

 

3. The human body is suffused with still-free-living bacteria (our internal microbiotia), while human cells long have been symbiotic with what used to be free bacteria (mitochondria and possibly other organelles). Lateral exchanges (horizontal genetic transfer) continue constantly. In general, complex multi-cellular organisms remain assemblages of primal microbial DNA which has changed little over time other than to collect and interlink itself more closely and symbiotically.

 

This is probably true of human consciousness as well: As neuroscience develops, the brain and nervous system are looking more and more like ramifications from primal bacterial assemblies.

 

This puts human hubris in perspective, especially the liberal/Randroid “individualist” pathology. Between the microcosmos, the impetus of bacteria and other microbes, and the planetary macrocosmos, and from there the broader universe, Homo sapiens is a tenuous, ephemeral, meaningless thing, except insofar as we give our lives meaning for ourselves. To be individualistic about it is to be even more absurd and egomaniacal.

 

This also puts idiocy like genetic engineering in perspective: The megalomaniacal lunacy of it, that such clueless puny creatures are going to murder and replace Gaia and become gods themselves; and the biological danger of it, which just like climate chaos is far more potentially disastrous to ourselves than to Gaia at large.

 

4. We’re all symbiotic with bacteria. Herbicides in the environment and diet strip us of our bacterial health maintenance, as sure as wind chill strips our cushion of air, our personal micro-atmosphere which helps regulate our body temperature. Herbicidal bacteria-killers and antibiotic abuse in factory farming and genetic engineering are trying to sunder us physically from Gaia, from our symbiosis with the permanent organism.

 

5. The emphasis on so-called “genes” is an emphasis on an arbitrary unit. This focus, which suppresses emphasis on naturally definable DNA on the one hand, or the full symbiotic organism and its communities on the other, is an attempt to expunge both ecological science and politics/culture in favor of technocracy/scientism.

 

A basic move of the junk science of genetic engineering and sociobiology is to depict “the gene” rather than DNA as the key unit of the genome. DNA, the genome as a whole, always is fluid, chaotic, unpredictable. “The gene” is supposed to sit still, remain unchanged, exert a constant predictable effect. But in reality this is a lie. There is no rigorously definable “gene”, let alone any scientific way to attribute agency (gene reductionists like Richard Dawkins are a type of animist) or causality to such an ineffable thing.

 

6. Human brains networked with bacteria comprise a larger super-organism possessing sentience. Jung expressed this with his theory of the collective unconscious. This is part of the psychological, spiritual idea and feeling of Gaia. Religiosity also arises from a potentiality and trend of the evolution of the bacteria/human brain/human social animal network, and therefore is part of Gaia. (Again, gene-based dogma is bubble-based and posits an isolated individual, and in this way seeks to smash and atomize all collective psychology and spirit.)

 

7. The technosphere is an emergent collective techno-organism with its hominid appendage, driven mainly by its own ideological logic reflected in the conscious minds of the appendages, plus a rogue bacterial strain which has become a form of aggressive vermin (the hominid appendage also is part of this vermin package). This strain operates in accord with the power-concentrating tendency of Mammon and technology.

 

James Lovelock, Lynn Margulis and others wrote of Gaia and the ecosphere, Jacques Ellul, Dmitry Orlov and others against the technosphere. The mainstream media, advertising firms, every kind of PR flack of the corporate state, comprise the technosphere’s mode of speaking, its general mode of indoctrination and propaganda. Therefore we should view propagandists, not as “wicked” but as equivalent to botulism or rabid dogs. This is precise since they are veritably the servants of such bacteria and viruses.

 

8. Agrobacterium tumefaciens is using a portion of Homo domesticus and technology to expand its domain. This includes using these to wipe out many counterbalancing bacteria in our bodies and open the terrain for a few pathogens (botulins, salmonella). Pasteurization, pesticides, antibiotic prescription abuse also are means of wiping out microbiotia and selecting for pathogens, especially those which are resistant to antibiotics. From the bacterial level we can see this as a biological war.

 

The hominids who engineer, deploy, and/or politically and culturally support GMOs and pesticides are tools of rogue bacterial evolution: 1. A. tumefaciens, 2. antibiotic resistant strains, 3. accelerated horizontal genetic transfer from and among these pathogens via supercharged genetic promoters and gene drives.

 

9. This is a thread of evolution gone berserk. A. tumefaciens plus maize, soybeans, and few other crops, plus the deranged technosphere-hominid faction, are trying to wipe out soil microbial ecology and from there all other plants. (For example, they used Agrobacterium for Xtend soybeans and cotton, in order to maximize dicamba deployment and massacre all other broadleaf plants. The proximate target is non-GM soybeans, and from there all crops and plants not technologically tolerant of dicamba.) This murder campaign is vastly greater than any intra-humanity death mission such as that of the Nazis. It seeks not just targeted genocide but total ecocide of humanity and the Earth. Humanity, of course, is inextricably part of the Gaian ecology. By definition ecocide includes total genocide, and those who seek to murder ecosystems want to exterminate humanity as well.

 

10. Such ideological notions as “the Anthropocene” or that genetic engineering is a form of conventional breeding can arise only from rogue bacterial derangement. Verily this is a biological war. We have a small but well-organized and extremely violent group of microbes, who have enlisted a small and extremely violent cadre of hominid mercenaries, launching a full scale assault against all existing ecosystems including humanity. We can either go extinct, or we can respond with our own adaptation. This has to mean organizing to fight back on the same biological level to eradicate this aggressive vermin manifestation.

 

11. Our mode of thinking and speaking seems to require that we separate reality into concepts and talk as if reality is cobbled together from separate “things”, that both physical and social reality are nothing but disaggregated atoms. This false mode wouldn’t be a lethal weakness if we could remain aware that in truth reality is not cobbled together like this but is a networked whole. But most cannot remain aware of this. So we must think, write, speak only holistically.

 

12. The constrictions of the language are reinforced because the enemy (the propaganda voice of the technosphere and the bacterial derangement) prefers the bogus construct of “the gene” (reductive, in theory technologically malleable) over DNA (too uncertain and chaotic to manipulate or even comprehend) or the whole organism (too complex to comprehend, leads toward political and social thinking which is anathema to the technocratic mentality, just as much as to the capitalist). Aristotle understood that politics is quintessentially human, which is why all bio-warfare activists hate politics, and all who want to enslave humanity hate it.

 

13. I don’t have a TV and only rarely watch at someone else’s house. But each time I do I see commercials for 23andMe. It’s a major propaganda campaign. This propaganda reruns the original racist/eugenic/Nazi program, this time with the mysticism of “blood” replaced by the pseudo-scientific mysticism of genetics. This is part of the general eugenic war plan: Agricultural GMOs, in addition to being weapons of power concentration in themselves, also are a stalking horse for GM-based animal and human eugenics.

 

14. What is the underlying biological basis of belief in corporate personhood and society’s summoning and worship of corporate demons? Or the fundamentalist cult of money? Biologically it’s destructive and self-destructive, politically and socioeconomically it’s destructive and self-destructive, psychologically it’s psychotic, religiously it’s a form of devil-worship. It’s easy to see why the destroyers of the Earth and humanity have organized themselves this way. But the broader acceptance or apathy toward corporate domination on the part of the great bulk of humanity indicates a general death wish which goes hand in hand with the death wish proven by the acceptance and apathy toward the destruction of the ecology we all depend on for our very lives. This indicates a biological poisoning and psychological cancer. The phase change in our bacterial framework, the eradication of healthy, cooperative microbiomes and their replacement with a combination of pathogens and sterility, all of this driven by the nutritional denuding and wholesale poisoning of our food, water, air, and overall environment; and the mass psychological derangement and spiritual deadening driven by all the institutions, atmospheres, ideas, and actions of modern civilization, have combined to afflict humanity with the most lethal pandemic, combined physical and psychological, in human history. It is the great existential crisis of the entire human experience.

 

15. To review:

 

A. Fossil fuels enabled the most pathological and destructive elements of human nature to run rampant. This is a reverse crippling, an alienation from intact, balanced human nature and from human holism within the ecology. This is the ultimate sundering, and the ultimate anti-ecological vermin infestation which Gaia must and shall correct by any means necessary, however harsh.

 

B. Some bacteria – A. tumefaciens, salmonella, botulins – are taking advantage. This has enabled some plants – maize, soybeans, cotton, herbicide-resistant “weeds” like Palmer amaranth and waterhemp – and insects – pesticide-resistant bollworms, rootworms, borers, and many others – to take advantage. It’s all part of the omnipresent microbial evolution. The bonfire of the fossil vanities is a release of the trapped “spirit” of long-dead plankton, algae, plants and trees.

 

C. Capitalism, Randroid individualism, scientism and technocracy are ideological reflections of this berserk drunken rampage, this kamikaze alienation. The near-universal death-wish is one of its pathologies. The Gaia-writers are mistaken to see this as continuity, and the “Anthropocene” propagandists lie about alleged continuity. But in reality it’s a non-linear break, destructive and self-destructive. The great fossil burn-off is ahistorical.

 

D. All this has powered Mammon to become a totalitarian theocracy, vastly more comprehensive, deep, profound, total than any merely political totalitarian regime ever was. And this theocracy is the perfect habitat for the pathogens and their hominid appendage organized into corporate demons to embark upon their terminal campaign of total destruction.

 

16. The only mode of defense and counterattack must meet the attack on its same ecological, biological plane. Gaia’s kinesis slowly but surely will impose the normal biological correction upon the civilization run amok. The only questions are whether Homo sapiens will survive at all, in what condition, and whether we will join this kinesis to help destroy the destroyers. This is Fishy (Salmon CAFOs and GM Camelina)

Factory farming of salmon, allegedly a more “sustainable” alternative to industrial mining of wild salmon, depends to a large extent on using ground up anchovies as feed. Thus it decimates another wild fishery. This generates the problem of declining anchovy populations and insufficient feed to fuel the overproducing salmon factory. The government, corporation, scientific establishment, and mainstream media then use this purely artificial problem as the pretext to tout GMO “solutions”. They do this for mundane profit purposes and toward more far-reaching goals of political power and eugenic control of GM animals and eventually GM humans.

 

In this case, anchovy-based feed as well as non-GM algae (also used extensively, and still available in adequate volume) are slated to be superseded by feed based on GM camelina modified with algae DNA to cause it to produce long-chain omega-3 oil. The fish fed on this material then will be touted as “healthy” to eat.

 

A laboratory feeding trial with this GM camelina currently is underway in Britain. As always with such trials, it’s not a food safety trial but only studies whether the animal quickly reaches slaughter weight. Nor will there ever be a study on the food safety for humans who eat animals fed this way. Once GM salmon are fed on GM feed it’ll be double exposure.

 

Note how the so-called “scientists” quoted in the piece think exclusively in terms of capitalist ideology, especially the Orwellian lie that government-subsidized supply-driven overproduction (in this case CAFO feed and farmed salmon), supplemented by consumerist propaganda, equals some natural mechanism of supply and demand. In reality there is no such “demand” except where artificially juiced by propaganda and retail prices kept deceptively low by hiding most of the costs and simply refusing to pay the environmental costs. But this environmental debt is vastly greater than the national debt. (National debts are denominated in money and owed to other money-mongers, and therefore can be written off without much trouble. But civilization’s mounting debt to Gaia is existential, biological, not financial; and it cannot be written off. On the contrary the Earth, perhaps at first slowly but all the more surely, will insist on payment in full, with interest.)

 

Reject the false Mammonist way of thinking, and the gratuitous idiocy of the whole CAFO/GMO paradigm becomes clear.

 

 

Fish farming is as bad as any other factory farming. Good land is condemned in order to grow the feed while human food production is driven onto more marginal land or just driven out completely. CAFOs are disease incubators, in the case of salmon frequently spreading disease to already beleaguered wild populations. CAFOs especially are designed to drive antibiotic resistance among human pathogens leading to the collapse of antibiotics as a medically effective treatment. Factory farming drives many socioeconomic evils, destroying community ways of life and community economies of farming and fishing for human food rather than for mass commodity production. CAFOs are ongoing atrocities against the animals exploited by them, physically and morally the descendants of Auschwitz. Anyone who could do this to non-human animals also would do it to humans, and anyone who could tolerate this level of animal cruelty would tolerate this level of cruelty to people. Nor is there any good reason to believe it’s less cruel for salmon than it is for chickens, pigs, cows.

 

And then in cases like this, the self-generated problems of factory farming are used as a pretext for the existential aggression of the genetic engineering regime.

 

 

On the other hand, no wild fish have evolved to withstand industrial fishing methods. All commercial fisheries are unsustainable. Salmon also are the special targets of dams. The attempted murder of rivers also murders the salmon who migrate up those rivers.

 

There is no ecological way to consume commercially extracted fish. Those who work toward an ecological way of life have to abjure commercial fish completely. This also would purge many poisons from the diet, from the mercury which accumulates in big predator fish to the incipient danger of GM salmon, the most dangerous kind of GMO for food safety because unlike commodity GM maize or soy it’s a true direct GM food designed to be eaten directly. Any food safety danger from genetic engineering itself will be maximized by such direct frankenfoods as GM salmon, “golden rice” if it ever got beyond the hoax stage, RNAi potatoes, botox apples and others.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To Cross the Bridge At All You Have to Burn It

Another lament from a science-concerned liberal. Science ethics professor Sheldon Krimsky is typical of the breed, coupling the usual factual demolition of Monsanto’s lies with hand-wringing about the honor of “Science” which often spills over into attacking the people who really threaten to destroy the basis of the power of Monsanto and the technocracy as a whole, something the good liberal establishment could never do and doesn’t want to do:

 

“This short aphorism [a slogan on a button he saw*] brought into focus two unfortunate realities. First, there are growing segments of the population who have lost confidence in science and choose to act on un-scientific or pseudo-scientific truth claims. And second, other segments of the population view scientists as just another stakeholder group subject to the same market influences in the competition for producing credible knowledge.”

 

On the contrary, these are promising realities. They indicate one of the widening fissures in the corporate prison wall. It is of course nothing but plain truth that establishment scientists are nothing but another stakeholder group which cares about power, money, prestige, not “truth.” (They may or may not seek scientific truth insofar as they can do this within the corporate science paradigm. But this paradigm always dictates the limits of allowable “truth”, as well as dictating the research agenda in the first place.)

 

And it’s equally plain truth that the people are acting rationally and adaptively (in a Darwinian sense) when they reject the nostrums of corporate “science”. It was never any different, at least not since “science” became an institutionalized capitalist profession rather than the domain of independently wealthy generalists such as Darwin. (And even they usually theorized scientifically in accord with the dominant socioeconomic theories of their class. Thus Darwin framed his depiction of evolution in terms of competition and natural selection of individuals, not because the evidence demanded such framing – the evidence at least as readily supports depictions based on cooperation and group selection – but because he was thinking along the lines of a commercial animal breeder, and more broadly in terms of Smithian capitalist ideology.)

 

Let’s see who really acts according to pseudo-science: For example, in the first third of the 20th century who believed most ardently in eugenics? That’s right, it was almost the entire scientific establishment, and educated “progressive” types in general. Just as these comprise the vanguard of the resurrected eugenics movement today. (Meanwhile in the 1920s the opposition was led by the despised “un-scientific” churches. That’s not the only time the churches have been on the side of actual scientific truth while the institutional science cadre was anti-science. Today organized religion hasn’t done humanity all that much good in opposing today’s eugenics. But today as then the most virulently anti-science group on earth is the STEM establishment. It’s no accident that in both cases the most cherished notion of scientists is eugenic control over life, and especially over human beings.)

 

But Krimsky, as an establishment cadre, has far more in common with Monsanto than with the people, which is why his criticism must remain within technocratic elitist bounds. But this guarantees that the criticism never becomes more than criticism, never becomes total war to abolish those who are murdering us and would murder us all.

 

Krimsky may think he’s fighting Monsanto, like some knight errant rushing to save the honor of the fair damsel “Science” from the foul clutches of the evil wizard. But in reality anyone familiar with the history of scientists knows there was little honor to save in the first place, and none today. Krimsky, by continuing to propagate good civics fantasies like “independent science” and “peer review”, is really reinforcing the corporate propaganda line that what’s really a biological and socioeconomic war should be viewed merely as a technical dispute within technocracy which should be disputed only on Monsanto’s chosen fake battlefield, that of establishment-vetted “science”. He’s trying to help Monsanto stop the people from freeing their minds by rejecting the whole fake scientism ideology.

 

 

*The slogan: “Science is Peer Reviewed, Not Politician Approved.” This is ahistorical nonsense. Power always has chosen what research is done in the first place and what the allowable results are. By the time one gets to “peer review” the research already has jumped through several far more important hoops which have zero to do with any exalted notion of scientific “truth”.

 

No doubt the button is supposed to be worn especially at fake “climate” demonstrations put on by tear-shedding liberal climate crocodiles who actually oppose all meaningful climate action every bit as much as their bugbear Trump does. The de facto climate deniers are vastly more pernicious than the de jure ones, since they pretend to care about the crisis and pretend to have the solution, when in fact their fake “solutions” have zero purpose but to let them feel smug while they buy time for civilization to destroy the Earth completely.

 

Their alleged solutions all involve the continuation of productionism, capitalism, consumerism. Just as George Bush said the right response to 9/11 was to keep shopping, so our climate crocodiles assure us that the right response to the climate crisis is to keep shopping. Just like their Monsanto-critical counterparts like Krimsky say is the right response to the ecological catastrophe of poisonism: Keep shopping, and only in system-approved venues. Thus his despair over the plummeting legitimacy of corporate system science.

 

Sure enough, Krimsky has declared that he cherishes the fantasy of “a livable planet without setting limits on economic growth.”

 

Economic “growth”, of course, never has been anything but cancer, in every figurative as well as literal sense. It is one of the most evil psychoses humanity has developed, and by far the most insane and self-destructive.

 

To reprise what I’ve written innumerable times at this site, there is one and only one solution to avert the worst of the climate crisis:

 

Stop emitting greenhouse gases at anything close to an industrial level; stop destroying carbon sinks; rebuild sinks on a mass scale.

 

Anything short of this is a lie. (Needless to say, no room left there for “growth”.) The only answer to every other ecological and human crisis is the same kind of answer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Glyphosate and the General Poison Paradigm: Destroy the Soil; Destroy Antibiotics; Drive Climate Chaos

“Field studies cited in the report show the half-life of glyphosate in soil ranges between a few days to several months, or even a year, depending on soil composition. The authors say the research demonstrates that soil sorption and degradation of glyphosate vary significantly depending on the soil’s physical, chemical, and biological properties.”

 

Who would’ve thought the effects of pesticides and GMOs depend on environmental factors! Certainly not our flat-earther scientific reductionists and biological determinists.

 

 

1. As an antibiotic and general animal poison glyphosate wrecks critical soil ecosystems, from bacteria to earthworms and beyond. Therefore it takes its place as part of the corporate campaign to destroy all soil, whose continued existence depends upon these soil ecosystems. All actions of industrial agriculture directly destroy the soil. Therefore this is a primary goal of all participants and supporters of this mode of agriculture.

 

2. Along with antibiotic abuse in CAFOs and genetic engineering, glyphosate and other pesticides are part of the general corporate campaign to wipe out antibiotics as an effective medical treatment. Glyphosate does this two ways: (1) As an abused antibiotic itself, it drives microbial resistance among botulins, salmonella, and other pathogenic bacteria. This effect is related to how glyphosate decimates our essential gut bacteria while selectively sparing those pathogens. (2) The main source of antibiotic agents is the same soil bacteria which are being decimated by glyphosate. By destroying soil ecosystems, the glyphosate campaign works to destroy the very basis of antibiotic research and development.

 

All actions of industrial agriculture work to eradicate antibiotic medical technology. Therefore this is a primary goal of all participants and supporters of this mode of agriculture.*

 

3. Soil ecosystems are essential for the cycling of carbon in forms other than the atmospheric release of carbon dioxide. Proximately, soil organisms draw CO2 down from the air and build soil organic matter in the form of humus. They help maintain healthy, prolific plant growth with maximum incorporation of carbon in the plant biomass. This comprises the proximate carbon sink. Over the longer run, soil organisms greatly enhance the process of carbon being incorporated into water solution (in the form of calcium bicarbonate), carried to the ocean, and from there incorporated into the microscopic shells and skeletons of oceanic algae whose shells then rain down to the ocean floor where they solidify as limestone. This is the ultimate carbon sink, from which the carbon doesn’t volcanically return to the air for many millions of years.

 

By decimating soil ecosystems, glyphosate and other pesticides stanch both the proximate and long run processes of carbon sinking. They maximize the atmospheric release of CO2.

 

All aspects of industrial agriculture work to drive the climate crisis by destroying sinks and maximizing the emission of CO2, methane, and nitrous oxide. Therefore this is a primary goal of all participants and supporters of this mode of agriculture. Indeed, climate change takes its place alongside the mass forced eviction from the land as a deliberate disaster capitalist campaign of the corporate technocracy.

 

Destruction of the soil, destruction of medical antibiotics, climate chaos: These are deliberate, systematic crimes of the political and economic leaders. They’re the crimes of every profiteer, executive, engineer, and propagandist of corporate industrial agriculture.

 

 

*As for the scientism wingnuts, mainstream media, and academics and public intellectuals, it bears repeating as often as possible that they support the campaign to eradiate antibiotics. Remember this next time you see someone shrieking about the alleged threat to public health from a handful of non-vaccinators. Demand to know what he’s doing about the systematic campaign of governments and corporations to wipe out antibiotics via their profligate abuse in CAFOs and genetic engineering. This is a campaign which intentionally generates maximal antibiotic resistance among pathogens. And yet the cultists do nothing and say nothing about this. On the contrary, they actively support all the crimes of corporate agriculture including the campaign to wipe out antibiotics. This proves that they couldn’t care less about public health, and that their hysteria and hatred toward non-vaccinators has zero to do with public health. Rather, as authoritarian cult members they’re enraged by this form of civil disobedience as an affront to their statism and scientism. These fundamentalists see non-vaccination as blasphemy against their religion. So the surface arguments about vaccination are just a proxy for a religious culture war. The culture war over vaccines is used by the corporate technocracy as an organizational gambit, same as with the idea of genetically engineered eugenics and GMOs. It’s meant to organize fascist-type hatred toward dissidents against the technocracy. That’s why the techno-cultists, insofar as they shriek about non-vaccinators, should be called proxxers. Always let your first thought be: “These supporters of the CAFO/GMO system want to eradicate antibiotics. They want antibiotics to cease to exist. They are mass murderers.”

 

 

 

 

 

“Heal the World” is Nothing But Camouflage for Eugenics

They do like the word “medical”

 

 

British environmental secretary Michael Gove publicly calls for animal eugenics. This is often disguised by rhetorically masking the straight eugenic aspirations with alleged “medical” applications. In Gove’s case he’s explicit about the eugenics as well:

 

“Gene editing technology could help us to remove vulnerabilities to illness, develop higher yielding crops or more valuable livestock…Food in abundance, improved health, greater longevity.”

 

We see in just a few words: The “Feed the World” big lie, its companion “Heal the World” lie, and the intrinsic affinity of supposed medical goals of high-maintenance technology with the most far-reaching eugenic goals. Animal eugenics is a midpoint in technocracy’s plan to move from the deployment of agricultural GMOs to genetically modifying animals for “medical” and eugenic purposes (technocracy never pretends to recognize a dividing line here) to alleged medical treatments for humans based on genetic modification to a full-scale campaign of human eugenics based on genetic engineering. These comprise a seamless continuum.

 

But many critics of agricultural GMOs on the one hand and eugenics on the other nevertheless think you can mix and match parts of this unitary plan.

 

“The backlash to Mr Gove’s speech continued with campaign group GM Watch accusing him of ‘disingenuously’ mixing medical applications of genome editing for curing diseases with editing of animals.”

 

Lukewarm outfits like GMWatch think you can separate the alleged “medical applications” of technocracy from eugenics. But history proves this is impossible, and the engineers themselves often have admitted that the propaganda of the former is just a stalking horse for the latter.

 

“Heal the World” is the exact same lie, in the exact same form, as “Feed the World”. Just as with food, we already have sufficient medical knowledge and production. The only problem is lack of access to health care because people lack money and have lost the skills to tend to their own health. Here in America, single payer would do infinitely more good for human health and well-being than billions more $ spent on hi-tech treatments which even if they worked could benefit only a handful. The Goves of the world are abetted by general adherence, even on the part of most spot critics of things like GMOs*, to the technocratic ideology which believes humanity needs extremely expensive high-maintenance technology for everything. It’s bizarre to see those who oppose agricultural GMOs turn around and support the scam of “medical” GM even though it’s based on all the same lies and the same pernicious ideology.

 

[*This is one of several indications that most “anti-GMO” people are similar to what the pro-GMO activists say about them, that they’re motivated not by any coherent philosophical principle but by a flukish emotional reaction. The best evidence of this is how the movement always has had a strong tendency to remain within the bounds of consumerism and has been “political” only within those bounds. Just Label It had to do relatively little gatekeeping.]

 

“Heal the World” is part of the ideology that medicine isn’t supposed to prevent illness and promote health, but rather is supposed to wait for illness to happen (which fits perfectly with the agrochemical agenda) and then “cure” or “manage” it in the most expensive, high-maintenance technological way possible. Indeed when we recognize the promiscuous deployment of GMOs in the environment and food as a massive uncontrolled feeding and exposure experiment, we must go further and conclude that the scientific establishment actively is seeking to cause epidemics of cancer, birth defects, autoimmune diseases, and other maladies in order to gather data toward its projected future controlled eugenics experiments.

 

At the core of scientism ideology remains the belief that there’s really no such thing as “health” vs. “ill-health”, and that cancer is just a different state of an organism, not “worse” than lack of cancer. This article of faith hasn’t recently been so explicit as it was in the 19th century, but it remains one of the fundamentals of the scientism-technocracy cult.

 

The faith of the lukewarm GMO critics that one element of the genetic engineering crusade, alleged medical treatments, can be removed from its ideological and institutional context (we see how the anti-GMO people themselves tend to be the same mirror-image reductionists as the pro-GM activists) and serve as a constructive part of a medical system still based on managing disease dovetails well with their worship of regulators. Technocratic regulatory agencies also want to “manage” the deployment of poisons and the amount of human cancer and ecological destruction these cause instead of preventing all this in the first place. With this affinity, faith in the technocratic medical model and faith in the technocratic regulatory model, in both cases faith in the model of managing poisons rather than abolishing them, we see what’s fundamentally a statist religion. This explains the limits of most anti-GMO/pesticide thought and action so far, and why it seems impossible even to get small abolitionist propagation organizations going.

 

 

Meanwhile we must take our health into our own hands. The corporate-technocratic system based on extreme energy consumption and extreme assaults on the environment soon will collapse from the unsustainability of both of these campaigns. The system also is economically liquidating the people, so even if medical treatments based on high-maintenance technology and high-energy consumption were physically sustainable, the vast majority of us are or soon will be financially excluded from these.

 

What can we small mammals do for our health while dodging the dinosaurs?

 

1. Any of us could take our health into our own hands to a large extent with some affirmative and preventative education and effort. Eating wholesome food, living a physically active lifestyle (sedentarism combined with going to the gym is a poor substitute at best), renouncing the artificial stress inherent to the consumption-based lifestyle, knowledgeable use of medicinal herbs for prevention and treatment, use of other alternative and traditional medicine, are key elements of tending to our own health and well-being and that of our communities. (This dovetails with the necessary work to abolish the most health-destructive industrial projects, none of which are necessary for any aspect of human well-being, all of which are 100% destructive of it.)

 

2. Much of the treatment necessary we also can do for ourselves and one another, where necessary in tandem with the basics of modern medicine where these are still available.

 

3. These basics include basic sanitation, regular doctor practices, low-tech medicines, etc. To say again, all these easily and inexpensively could be arranged with a single payer system, or by restoring the original fee-for-service patient-doctor relationship. That’s just a reminder that to the extent one remains politically active as a would-be reformer, here too the real solutions are always basic and low-tech.

 

4. By contrast, the truly expensive, “hi-tech” treatments become necessary only in a small number of cases, and mostly for conditions that could have been prevented in the first place. For example, the need for ever more high-maintenance antibiotics and vaccines is driven by the corporate system’s deliberate creation of pathogens resistant to these. The whole notion that health care needs to be expensive, bureaucratic, controlled by any kind of insurance model, is the hi-tech tail wagging the social dog. But this is for the benefit of Wall Street, agribusiness, Big Drug, biotech, the health insurance racket, and government control over the people. It’s for the aggrandizement of technocracy as such.

 

 

While the eradication of disease will never be possible, if we use all we’ve learned of basic public health principles, the nutritional and medicinal uses of food and herbs, and and if we put a stop to those poisoning our environment, we certainly can greatly minimize it.

 

All the good and necessary measures are low-energy, low-tech. These also will be the only possible measures going forward. The lie of “healing the world” with high energy high-maintenance technology like gene editing is nothing but smoke covering technocracy’s control and domination agenda. Needless to say, eugenics for animal agriculture is the same as GM crops in having no constructive use and no future.

 

 

Propagate the necessary new ideas.

 

 

 

 

 

The Lies of the CRISPR/Gene Editing Media Campaign

The allegedly “new” GMOs are nothing but retreads of the old in every way. This is the case no matter whether the flacks call them by a technical name like CRISPR or Zinc Finger Nuclease, “gene editing”, “new breeding techniques”, or the more internet-colloquial GMOs 2.0 or what have you. The alleged novelty of these retreads is just the latest lie designed to rehabilitate all the same stale old lies.

 

GMO critics often have noted the self-contradiction between the original lie that genetic engineering was “precise” and the more recent hype touting CRISPR as “more precise than earlier methods”, thus conceding that these methods weren’t all that precise. This Wall Street Journal piece goes further, openly acknowledging that the GMO cartel wants simply to start over and “reset” all the lies. It doesn’t even say “more precise” but that “gene-editing technology…enables scientists to make precise changes to plants’ existing DNA”, thus admitting the complete lack of precision of the earlier methods. They’re also simply starting over with the lie equating genetic engineering with conventional breeding. The idea, evidently, is to pretend they never deployed these same lies for the earlier generation of GMOs, and that these lies weren’t all completely debunked.

 

Of course the same liars who tout the alleged greater precision of the retread GMOs still claim in other contexts that the old GMOs are “precise”. So we have two mutually exclusive versions of the “precision” lie being double-thought at all times by the same pro-GM activist liars. Then there’s the stealth version of the lie where a pro-GMO activist, pretending to be reasonable, concedes the failure of GM-based agriculture and pays lip service to emphasizing better farming practices over technological magic bullets, but in the very course of this smuggles in “gene editing” as “…a very different thing to GM [which] will change the whole picture.” This is the furthest I’ve seen a pro-GMO activist go in denigrating earlier GMOs while stealth-touting gene editing as something completely different and with completely different future prospects. In the same way as the more brazen liars he’s trying to get a do-over, a new beginning, for the products of genetic engineering. This fits with my analysis of agricultural GMOs as a stalking horse and preliminary experiment toward GE human eugenics, with animal modification a mid-point. And indeed pseudo-precise gene editing already is being used in human eugenic experimentation.

 

There’s more propaganda along those lines in these pieces, including a typical, indeed standard example of the reporter himself asserting “CRISPR is a far more accurate method of modifying genes than scientists have had access to before” instead of reporting this as a claim being made by the developers and sellers, the way a bona fide journalist would. This and other installments comprise a coordinated mainstream media propaganda campaign dedicated to ensuring the retreads are exempt from the meager, usually farcical regulation earlier GMOs were subject to, and to persuading the public to rescind its suspicion of GMOs as such by trying to convince them of all the same “precision” lies which were so evidently false the first time around.

 

This campaign also is a good example of a much greater confusion and lie. In principle science and technological development (engineering) are two completely different, although often related, things. I stress often but not necessarily related, since in the case of genetic engineering we have one of the cases where the technical deployment has nothing to do with the state of the science and indeed runs counter to it. Genetic engineering is based on nothing but determinist junk science and brute force empiricism (best symbolized by the fact that they literally shoot the transgenes into tissue cultured cells with a gun; read Lords of the Harvest for the image of how gene gun experimenters literally got splattered with onion gore; “precision” indeed!) and has almost nothing to do with science. Indeed, the more the actual science of genetics learns, the more geneticists realize how basically ignorant they are about how the genome works, and how impossible it is to attain any kind of “precision” with artificial genetic manipulation. Here’s a recent book (published in 2016) on the state of genetic science, written by a geneticist who is typically pro-GM. That is, no one could accuse her of slanting anything in an anti-biotech way. And yet the book completely demolishes any claim that genetic engineers could ever have the slightest idea what they’re doing and what the effects will be. (The author seems unaware of this; she’s an example of the double-think I described above.) Yet the propaganda of genetic engineering always systematically has conflated engineering with “science”. The media’s propaganda campaign touting gene editing is a typical example.

 

This leads to one of my basic points, that today’s establishment “science” is indeed nothing but the corporate science paradigm. (Cf. Thomas Kuhn’s The Structure of Scientific Revolutions for his use of the terms “science paradigm” and “normal science”.) Under the corporate science paradigm, “science” is indeed defined as nothing more or less than the development of profitable technologies. From that point of view, GMO deployment would be called “science”. But this has zero to do with the mythology of the scientific method like we were taught in school, and in fact directly contradicts it. Yet the professional liars depend upon the average pseudo-educated reader to conflate the two in their mind.

 

The CRIPSR media campaign boils down to one of the fundamental political lies: [Insert failed policy] had this-or-that problem the hundred times we touted it before, but THIS time we really promise it’ll work, so believe us again and keep submitting. The most amazing thing is that this self-evident mode of lying works, so long as there’s enough people who are still desperate enough to believe the lie. In the case of genetic engineering, the idea and its toolkit of canned lies comprise a proxy for the crumbling, ever more desperate religious faith of middle class Westerners in technocratic “progress”. As I’ve long said, GMOs are most of all a propaganda campaign. Until enough Westerners are willing to face reality and psychologically burn their ships, the GMO idea, and from there the real-world deployment, will continue to have traction. That’s why the “anti-GMO” people as well are so peculiarly ambivalent and modest in their prescriptions: Most of them too are pro-technocracy consumerists whose opposition to one facet of that system (GM/pesticide food) is more a personal fluke than anything based in a coherent opposition to the system of which genetic engineering and eugenics comprise the supreme idea and product.

The Corporate Science Establishment Vs. the Scientific Method

Conclusion first – experiment afterwards! In fact genetic engineering is nothing but mass non-consensual human experiment and religiously pre-determined “conclusion”, with zero concern for data which doesn’t fit the dogma. Nor is any hypothesis or scientific theory ever involved. There is no science of genetic engineering.

 

 

What is scientific method? Science is not qualitatively different from other belief systems, but is part of the same general complex as philosophy, political theory, and religion. Where actually practiced according to the theory of how it’s supposed to be practiced, science is a well-defined set of actions performed in accord with reason which attains a limited but reasonably reliable result. The rationality which prescribes the actions and the reliability of the result are sound within rationally circumscribed limits and as long as the practitioners and everyone else acknowledge these limits. Therefore science is a form of practical philosophy which is more applicable to physical objects and processes than most other kinds. According to the scientists themselves, as most fully elaborated by Karl Popper, explicator of “the scientific method”, what distinguishes science from other forms of philosophy is that its results must always be falsifiable. This means that at least in principle there must be an experiment which could generate data which disproves a scientific contention. If no such experiment can be conceived even in principle, a proposition automatically is supposed to be ruled out of science.

 

That’s how it’s supposed to work. Of course in reality people tend to conform, to seek agreement and consensus, and for several reasons STEM types are among the most congenitally conformist and authoritarian. So it was always dubious and indeed suspicious that the scientific fraternity exalted an ideal which is so uncongenial to human nature and especially to their own nature, this heroic notion of the eternal vigilance and critical nature of everyday science practitioners. The falsification ideal also goes against simple careerism. No rational person would expect eminent scientists with influence over research funding to prefer aspiring falsifiers of their work over aspiring conformists and reinforcements.

 

Any fraternity, especially one which combines such extremes of tribalism, arrogance, and persecution complex as the scientific fraternity does, generally seeks tribal compaction over assimilation to any idea which is more universal, or one which contradicts one of the tribe’s defining tenets. The Mafia calls this sticking up for Cosa Nostra, “Our Thing”. The average STEM cadre, as well as post-graduate types in general, is completely ignorant about genetic engineering and GMOs but does know that a hard core of the fraternity is fanatically in support of this campaign, and that’s all these authoritarian followers need to know: It’s Our Thing. So from the evidence of history we’d expect that, once the scientific fraternity has committed itself spiritually to the exaltation of genetic engineering, it would tend automatically to rally around the GMO rallying cry and to despise anyone with questions, criticisms or, most wickedly, falsifications.

 

Now we understand how the proposition that “GMOs are safe for human consumption”, while readily falsifiable in principle given sufficient research resources, became unfalsifiable in practice. What do we learn from the scientific establishment’s institutional obstructionism and refusal to fund whole genres of theoretically possible and morally imperative testing? This rationally implies that the obstructionists – corporations and governments – believe their theory is false and are using lies and obstructionism to shield it from the test of falsifiability.

 

The scientific establishment always has refused to perform scientific safety tests on GMOs. Instead:

 

1. They promulgated the religious dogma that GMOs are “substantially equivalent” to non-GM crops and foods. This is part of the prior religious Conclusion of genetic engineers and their cultists I cited above.

 

Of course this equivalence was always self-evidently a lie since plants suffused with herbicide and/or endemic Bt toxins automatically are very different from plants which are not poisonous in this way. And even according to the system’s own narrow, technical concept, the equivalence dogma has been disproven many times. But the scientific establishment continues to promulgate it as dogma.

 

2. The scientific establishment has systematically lied in representing industrial testing of such parameters as fast weight gain in CAFO inmates to be legitimate food safety tests relevant to human food safety. Corporations, governments, and the mainstream media then parrot these lies, but it’s the scientists themselves who design and initially propagate the lies.

 

3. They claim to possess evidence, e.g. that glyphosate doesn’t cause cancer, but say they cannot show it to us. This alleged evidence must remain secret, and the world must trust the corporate science establishment on faith. What would Popper say about that?

 

4. They’ve presented a united front in trying to suppress actual scientists who attempt falsification on their own.

 

 

It’s clear that establishment science systematically has evaded its obligation to test GMOs for safety, systematically has lied about its dereliction, and systematically has sought to obstruct science and repress real falsification-seeking scientists. This proves the general malignity of this establishment and its complete lack of scientific credibility, authority, and legitimacy.

 

To say a few more words about secret science, its purpose is to exalt the corporate-technocratic establishment as an authoritative priesthood. This means that it must prefer assertion and obfuscation over rational argument and the presentation of evidence, since no one who wants to be seen as an authoritarian command figure can afford to let the peasants question his authority, for example by demanding rational debate and evidence. This is a major reason why genetic engineers and their fanboys historically never were willing rationally to answer questions and objections to their endeavor, but rather resorted from day one to vague utopian rhetoric, epithets, and insults. The other reason was that rationality and the evidence have always been strongly against genetic engineering.

 

From this perspective we see that the proximate reason given for the secrecy, intellectual property, is more a pretext than a cause. Both the patenting and the secrecy that goes with it are important for profiteering, but they’re more important for power as such. One must never be distracted by the kind of idiot who would rationalize secret science by invoking IP privilege. IP is a pure fiction which has no reality-based purpose, but which is only a weapon of corporate and scientism cultist power.

 

And as we see, IP cannot co-exist with the scientific method. You can have one or the other, never both. The entire Western political and STEM class, as well as the voters, have chosen to exalt corporate intellectual property and to degrade science. This is part of the complete enclosure of all of “science” within the corporate science paradigm.

 

 

The scientific method dictates that even in principle we never reasonably can conclude that “GMOs are safe”. The genetic engineering process guarantees that each “event” will have unique chaotic effects since there’s so many random mutations from each transgenic insertion and each tissue culturing.

 

Random variation and its sometimes major real-world effects is the first premise of Darwinism. Since genetic engineering ideology lies about its precision and dogmatically decrees that it generates no significant mutations, we see how this pseudo-science is denialist, not just of evolution as such but specifically of Darwinism.

 

The radical overall evolution denialism of the genetic engineers and their religious following is part of their eugenics agenda. They despise natural evolution and intend to break out of all of its mechanisms and leap over all of its safeguards. Their campaign to deploy GM crops as universally over the globe as possible, as quickly as possible, with an ostentatious contempt for the effects of this, is extremely reckless and dangerous from any rational or scientific point of view.

 

But we must understand that from the religious crusading point of view of eugenic scientism, the recklessness and danger of this deployment is precisely why it should be done, on principle. The massive non-consensual human feeding experiment ultimately has eugenic goals. In the same way, the so far uncontrolled experiment of the vast-scale environmental release of GMOs ultimately has the goal of forcibly overriding evolution and imposing technocratic creationism over the entire globe. This is the richer significance of the malign experimentalism of the STEM establishment. Both of these experiments are being carried out with the most extreme, radical, reckless indifference to human and ecological well-being, precisely because the technocratic mentality does not recognize such well-being as a value at all and has nothing but contempt for it. This goes to the core of why technology in general so seldom works to make our lives better: Such a value has always meant nothing to the scientists and engineers. They seek nothing but control for the sake of control. Therefore they campaign to impose their vast uncontrolled experiments upon humanity and the Earth toward the goal of one day turning these into controlled experiments, and eventually being able to enforce total eugenic control. At that point they’ll completely have eradicated nature and history and replaced these with divinely willed creationism. As insane and physically impossible as it is, this is their goal. They’ve hijacked science to serve this goal.

 

 

Thus, where it comes to genetic engineering where would you even get started with “scientific method”? There’s no theory, and the engineers despise observation. Otherwise they’d reject the project as having no possible benefit, only risks and harms. Rather, they start with the experiment itself, for its own ultimately eugenic sake and for corporate profit. If one makes a prediction it’s nothing but wishful thinking and not part of scientific method at all, since they have no theory or evidence upon which to base it. Therefore what they really do is invent the religious conclusion that GMOs are beneficial, indeed utopian, then embark upon the experiment, accompanied with lies and corporate hype. This is another reason genetic engineers started out with such a belligerent, anti-rationalist attitude – they had no other option.

 

Of course the proposition that GMOs as such are safe and that genetic engineering never has harmful effects already has been falsified many times: The lethal Showa Denko epidemic, the StarLink allergenic outbreak, allergenic GM soy engineered with a gene from Brazil nuts, GM corn which has toxic liver and kidney effects, just to name a few.

 

Thus we see how according to the scientific method, which the science establishment, the scientism cult, academia and the mainstream media all claim is the method they practice and/or consider legitimate, genetic engineering is anti-science and anti-evolution. And yet all these institutions don’t just support GMOs but ardently exalt them. This proves that they lie when they claim to practice and respect the scientific method.

 

 

There are many proofs that the modern corporate science establishment is systematically anti-science and has no credibility and should be accorded no legitimacy by humanity. The best proof is the STEM establishment’s bizarre love affair with this backward, shoddy, failed technology which never had any real-world purpose but to help a few agrochemical corporations sell more poison. It’ll go down as one of history’s great marvels of depravity that science threw it all away for the sake of something so stupid, worthless, and mean.
